After the third iOS 5 beta was released yesterday, iOS hacker MuscleNerd revealed once again that the beta can be jailbroken (tethered only, of course) with redsn0w 0.9.8b1 by pointing it to the IPSW of the first beta. However, either by mistake or intentionally, Apple has made it so App Store applications will not work for anyone who is jailbroken on the beta firmware.
