New iPhone, iPad and iPod touch apps
- My Red Riding Hood is a complete entertainer for the young and old alike. Each scene comes with a range of animations that children will enjoy, and also, when certain objects in the scene are touched, more animations are revealed. It is a simply told tale with lots of imaginative touches that will be fun and amusing for the children to read and watch. Each page of the story is loaded with innumerable animations and is narrated beautifully that will appeal, not only to kids, but also to anyone, who loves a good story.
- Minimax Games has introduced Matching Animals for Kids 1.0, their new game for iOS. Developed especially for kids, Matching Animals features a great collection of animal cards and lots of game modes. Kids have to reveal colorful cards and find animal pairs. The game can be played by toddlers without any assistance by adults. This cute game helps your child develop fine-motor skills and learning, recognizing and remembering images, and symbols.
- DFANY has just released the new version of Photopod, the first photo aggregator for iPhone on Apple App Store. This is the first app for iPhone which offers photo aggregation from Facebook, Twitter, Flickr, Picasa,Tumblr and Dropbox into a single app through its unique double-accordion interface. It also enables uploading multiple images to multiple networks as well as editing the photos with a single touch.
- Kaiser & Kaiser has announced today speedClock 2.0 for iPhone 4 and 3Gs, an update to their utility that uses the device’s video camera to measure the speed of any object, the distance to any point, and lap times. Employing the device’s accelerometer or size comparisons establishes distance. Speed and laps are measured using the motion sensing of the video camera, timing the interval between the object entering and leaving the frame. The app is compatible with video-camera equipped iOS devices.
- Stefan Preuss has released Hummingz EVO 1.0 for Apple’s iPhone and iPod touch devices. Hummingz EVO is a fun retro arcade shooter with extras and boss enemies. Shoot your way through many different levels filled with nasty bugs, spiders, frogs, bees and more. Hummingz EVO offers two game modes with fun and fast arcade style action. Fight huge boss enemies and collect extras. The game is easy to control; players can use just one finger to control their bug.
- yianni-software’s latest iPhone app, TakeTwo 1.0, gets you to take a photo and then allows you to use the original photo as a guide to take your after photo. The innovative iPhone app can either use a photo from your Library, or a new photo to use as your ‘before’ photo. By overlaying this image when taking your ‘after’ photo it allows the photographer to position the shot within context of the original photo.
- A new iPad and iPhone technology allows parents to read a bedtime story to their children even if they are away in a different country. Nursery Rhymes with StoryTime is the first interactive book to feature the new StoryTime technologya system that turns any two iPads or iPhones into remote-reading devices. The new technology means parents will never miss bedtime again, no matter where they are on the planet.
- Anuman Interactive has announced new prices drop for Magic Tricks - Gold Edition only on iPhone. From March 18th to March 25th, Magic Tricks - Gold edition will be on sale for $0.99 instead of the standard $5.99.
