Software

- For the second weekend, the game Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde is on sale in the Mac AppStore for $2.99 (normally $5.99).
- Indev has announced Mail Perspectives, its new software to transform your email experience in Apple’s Mail application. By extending Mail’s user interface Mail Perspectives introduces a new level of visual organization to your messages and mailboxes. By adding four new windows to Mail, the Perspective, Quick Look, Recent Mail and Mail Actions Windows, to Apple’s Mail.app, Mail Perspectives makes it easier to monitor mailboxes, and visually organize the Mail environment.
- Vortimac Software has announced Dossier 2.6, an important update to their popular information management tool for Mac OS X. Featuring an easy-to-use interface, Dossier is an ideal solution for keeping and organizing notes, to-do lists, passwords, and virtually anything else. Version 2.6 features a substantial overhaul, including major interface enhancements, better support for import from various sources, upgraded help system, and dozens of other enhancements and bug fixes.
- Class on Demand has announced the latest “Class on Demand Legends Series” weekly training webinars featuring acclaimed Final Cut Pro tutorial guru, Larry Jordan. The new webinars, titled “Advanced Audio Mixing Techniques in Soundtrack Pro” and “Create a Blu-ray Disk for HD Video” can be accessed today in streaming video delivery format through the Class on Demand Learning Platform.
