Boasting $300 price tag
The long rumoured S3 all-in-one wireless player from Sonos looks to have?materialised?on Amazon, before being rapidly pulled.?
According to the Amazon posting, the system has a "3 driver speaker system, 3 digital amps, 1 tweeter, 2 mid range drivers and 1 bass radiator".
Short of the systems' audio setup and dimensions (12.3 x 9.5 x 8.6 inches, 7.7 pounds), there is very little specs to go on.
"The smaller, sexier, tuck in a corner and blow out the roof, all-in-one player. Wirelessly stream your entire itunes library, favorite music services, and thousands of radio stations from around the world. Versatile enough to put anywhere and still fill the room with sound. Set up simply, and expand until every room in your home is packed with music. All playing a different song in every room or the same song in perfect synchronization. Control it all from your Android iPhone or iPad using the free Sonos CONTROL app." read the product description.?
Sonos uses Android and iOS controls to allow you to wirelessly switch tracks and play music through the all-in-one system.
The Amazon listing refers to the Sonos system as the?PLAY3US1BLK, pointing to the company's traditional black and white design approach. It also hints at the Play3 as a possible final product name.
There was a 2 to 5 week shipping date mentioned on the Amazon posting, but this is by no means definite. Expect to hear more definite release and pricing information when Sonos eventually confirms the thing.?
