New releases from Adobe announced just a couple days ago include Flash Media Server 4.5 and Flash Access 3.0, tools which have been updated to support streaming Flash video on iDevices by repackaging the content into a format that is playable in iOS. Adobe Flash Media Server 4.5 gives media publishers access to a single workflow to deliver content, using one stream to deliver video to both iDevices and Flash-enabled devices. Repackaging of content is done in real-time, modifying the protocol to those like HTTP Dynamic Streaming or HTTP Live Streaming (HLS) in order to fit compatibility with these devices.…
