Ahead of iOS 5’s public release with Twitter integration, Twitter’s official iOS app has been updated with some new features. Most notable is a new sign up procedure that allows apps that use Twitter credentials to log in or sign up to query the iOS Settings app for user-specified Twitter credentials, eliminating the need for those users to enter their Twitter log-in and password every time they use an application with Twitter features.
