Twitter ablaze with angry O2 customers
Looks like O2's network has gone down again, making it the second time this month that London has seen an outage from the provider.?
Angry O2 customers are also tweeting that the network is a no go in areas outside the capital, with Peterfield, Essex, York and parts of the North East all reporting problems.?
One Twitterer said:
"Been with?#o2?for over 9 years and never had an issue. But these last 6 months have been beyond a joke. Not even 3 are this bad!"
The last time that O2 had a major network outage was when thieves vandalised a site needed for voice, text and 3G data in East London. Chaos ensued and O2 quickly rushed to get the centre repaired, not being able to inform customers of the exact damage or time it would take to fix due to security reasons.?
Those who use GiffGaff and Tesco Mobile will also find their mobile phones struggling today, as they make use of O2's systems.?
Pocket-lint will keep you posted on the outage as it unfolds.
