  • DunRight Software LLC has announced that their list manager and information organizing application, List Central, is now on sale for a 40% holiday discount. List Central allows users to rapidly create numbered lists from a single screen so that lists can be created in seconds. Additionally, users can create mini-information applications around each list by taking advantage of unlimited bookmarks, notes and photos for each item.
  • Appdicted, LLC, has released Cartoon Hairstyles 1.2 for iPhone, iPod touch and iPad users. Cartoon Hairstyles gives people a way to try on cartoon hairstyles using any photo. Try a style on yourself, your friends and even your pets. The app offers over 50 male and female styles to choose from. Cartoon Hairstyles helps create fun and hilarious pictures that can be shared with your friends and family.
  • Appdicted, LLC, has released Monster Studio 1.2 for iPhone, iPod touch and iPad users. Easy and entertaining for all ages, Monster Studio gives people a way to create their own custom high quality and fun monsters. The app offers many body types, eyes, mouths and accessories, over 100 parts available to create endless custom monsters. Create your monster in one of the 21 backgrounds included in this app or use your own photo as the background.
  • MacPhun LLC has announced Perfect Photo, an update to one of its leading products for iOS. Rated among the App Stores most popular photo editing applications, version 2.0 will introduce new editing and sharing features, as well as re-designed interface with extremely easy navigation. Perfect Photo is enriched with a number of new editing tools, including red eye removal and spot healing, which are hard to find in similar apps for iPhone and iPod touch.
  • Koren Projects has released TrueKeyboard 1.1 for iPhone, iPod touch and iPad. An enhanced notes program, TrueKeyboard offers users a full ergonomic keyboard complete with all 4 arrows and number pad, in realistic 3D, complete with Auto-correction and speller. Messages can be sent to others via email or SMS from within the extremely easy-to-use app. Users are able to adjust the color of the keyboard. TrueKeyboard takes advantage of iOS 4.2 and the iPhone 4 retina display.
  • Deep Prose Software has announced FastTalker 1.0 for iPhone and iPad. FastTalker is convenient for making quick audio notes on-the-go without having to look at the screen or tap a lot of buttons. It is designed to capture quick audio recordings of 5, 10, 15, or 20 seconds at a time. FastTalker starts and ends recording automatically - just start the app and record your thoughts. That’s it! You can review all your recorded talks, and send them by email.
  • Ziv Aviv has announced Dorothy and the Wizard of Oz v1.1 for iPad, an update to his eBook that contains the complete text of the English book translated into Hebrew. The original children’s book, The Wonderful Wizard of Oz, was written by L. Frank Baum and published in 1900. This eBook edition is an ideal story for an adult to read to a child, whether they are both native speakers of Hebrew, or wish to maintain a connection to the national language of the State of Israel.
  • Uncommon Projects has updated Marco Friend Locator with numerous user-requested features. Marco is the free SMS powered app that allows friends to use their smartphones to find each other fast and privately. Marco Friend Locator 1.1.1 has added a recent contacts list, backwards compatibility with iOS 4.0, “zoom-to-here” and a “ping” feature. Marco now automatically includes the neighborhood directly in the body of the SMS a user sends.
  • Online shopping and price comparison engine, TheFind reports massive increases in shoppers using mobile devices as the holiday shopping season begins. TheFind also reported that mobile traffic accounted for roughly 25 percent of all shopping visits over the holiday weekend as compared to only 15 percent of all shopping visits for the Thanksgiving weekend in 2009.   • Apps Capital has released Diet Defense 1.0 for iPhone and iPod touch, only one week after releasing the iPad exclusive version of the game, which has enjoyed solid sales in the App Store. This new launch is a highly addictive game with a very healthy message. It incorporates tower defense strategy with a war against junk food. Players use healthy fruits and vegetables as their weapons to keep marauding food enemies at bay.
  • iGameGuides has released an unofficial Guide for Black Ops for iPhone and iPod touch devices. The Guide for Black Ops includes real damage graphs for all weapons, “create a class” for building classes, “tactical uses” for all weapons and equipment, perks, killstreaks, attachments all with detailed strategy. And that is just some of the features found in Guide for Black Ops.
  • It’s not meant to be fair; it’s meant to be funny and a hole-lot-of-fun! SkyZone Entertainment, Inc., and FremantleMedia Enterprises (FME) have released Hole In The Wall on the iOS, BREW, J2ME mobile platforms, with Android soon to follow. Based on the popular and outrageous Japanese game show, the globally successful Hole In The Wall features two teams who compete by attempting to force themselves through bizarrely shaped holes in a giant moving wall. Failure to do so results in players being pushed into a pool of water below. The mobile gamewill cost between $1.99 and $6.99 on various mobile platforms.
