Software

  • Aspyr is raising money for the Boys and Girls Club of America.  With every $5.00 donation, customers will receive a coupon code good for 20% off their next gameagent purchase. Not only that, but those who donate will be entered in for a chance to win daily giveaways, including GameAgent games, t-shirts and 5 grand prizes of Signed Civ V Mac Special Editions. Super cool. And to cap it all off, Aspyr is matching contributions up to $5,000.
  • FmPro Migrator Developer Edition 5.86 from .com Solutions Inc. creates .Net database front-end applications from popular desktop database applications. Compiled applications can be deployed as Windows desktop or cross-platform SilverLight apps. This feature leverages the automated layout and relationship importing features of FmPro Migrator Developer Edition, along with FileMaker Pro Advanced or Microsoft Access and Visual Studio 2010.
  • The FCPUG Network has announced the Tenth Annual San Francisco FCPUG SuperMeet to take place on Friday, January 28, 2011 at the UCSF Mission Bay Conference Center in San Francisco, CA. Doors open at 4PM and presentations begin at 7PM. The San Francisco FCPUG SuperMeet kicks off a year-long celebration of the tenth anniversary of the SuperMeets and promises to be the single largest gathering of FCS, Adobe and Avid editors, gurus and digital filmmakers in the Bay Area for all of 2011.

  • The popular Apple blog Cult of Mac has made its first foray into the incredibly lucrative online T-Shirt market. The blog’s first t-shirt features a LOL MILF design, which is sure to be the hot fashion item at Macworld this year. Cult of Mac’s first t-shirt is a hilarious design featuring the classic all-in-one Mac and the word “MILF.” The design is a play on the popular SILF shirt. The Cult of Mac MILF shirt is totally custom branded.
