HTC Merge leaked pics and video

Froyo boasting slider QWERTY goes on show

Pictures (and a 360-degree video) of the HTC Merge have turned up online, courtesy of a Verizon webpage that has subsequently, and hastily, been removed

The Merge is an Android 2.2 handset boasting a 3.8-inch Sony Super-LCD display. It's packing a second generation Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, and has some decent camera specs too, with 720p video shooting and a 5-megapixel sensor for stills.

The full slider QWERTY device has a silver trim (well the Verizon version does at least) and there's HTC Sense thrown over the Google OS.

It's expected to get an official airing next week, although it's unclear whether we'll be seeing the HTC Merge on this side of the pond.

Fingers crossed though, because it looks like a killer-handset.
