Is 12.5 inches better than 13?
Kind of like the Louis Vuitton of laptops, the Lenovo?IdeaPad U260 is marketed as the world’s first consumer 12.5-inch laptop, that oozes elegance rather than just being another cheap laptop.
The Lenovo U260 is as powerful as it is aesthetically beautiful. The laptop itself has an unusual brownish copper coloured magnesium-aluminium alloy skin, but the standout feature is the leather-esque palmrest. Yep, you read that right, the palm rest is moulded to look like leather, which adds a certain air of elegance for those looking to “posh up” the 5:25pm train home.?
The laptop features a glass trackpad and is powered by the Intel Core i3-380UM processor (1.33GHz 800MHz 3MB), has an integrated up to 4GB of RAM, up to 320GB hard drive or up to 128GB of SSD.
There is also 802.11 b/g/n Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, D-Sub and HDMI outputs and a 4-cell battery enabling up to 4 hours of operation per charge.
If that doesn’t sound “high class” enough for you, you should probably check out Lenovo’s recently blinged up platinum and diamond encrusted U160. Classy.
