  • Tiny Mobile has released Cash Power 1.2, their new location-aware cash tracker for iOS. Every time you log a new transaction, Cash Power queries your location to find out where you are, and includes the global coordinate with the rest of your entered data. With our latest update we use Cash Power’s location awareness to suggest possible businesses where you’re making your purchase. Tap the appropriate business and it’s stored with all the other data in the current transaction.
  • Jason Jensen has announced Friend Update 1.0, his new app for iOS devices. Friend Update merges the Facebook and Twitter feeds of up to 30 friends on a page for each friend. Tapping a friend will bring the user to a page displaying that friend’s facebook and/or twitter feeds. Friend Update makes it easier for the user to stay in touch with those who are most important, even when s/he does not have time for the wider network.
  • COTE Magazine has released their new iPad application. Now readers of can access their extensive database of back issues featuring top personality profiles, plus insider analysis of the latest happenings and trends. Best of all, the app offers a searchable database of Switzerland’s best addresses, by keyword, location or sector, delivering results listed complete with a brief description, one-click telephone number, address and Google Maps location.
  • jeTap, Inc., has released GPSNotifier 1.5 for iPhone 4, the updated app sounds an alarm and displays a text message when the user arrives at a chosen location. Relying on Apple’s Region Monitoring, an always-on cell tower positioning system, the app and alarm are automatically activated when the device enters any specified alarm zone. Version 1.5 improve dramatically the GPS accuracy up to 1/3rd of a mile, add new alarm sounds, and many new languages.
  • ALK Technologies, Ltd. has announced a free map update for CoPilot Live v8 customers in Europe. Working with European map partner NAVTEQ, the update brings the most accurate street maps and points of interest available to help customers navigate with confidence this Christmas. As with all CoPilot Live products, the maps are stored locally on the phone or on a memory card, not downloaded each trip.

  • LateNiteSoft has announced Lab 1.0, their new app available for all iOS 4 devices. Lab is a simple but useful and beautiful app that allows users to get detailed information about the pictures in their device’s camera roll, and the perfect complement for the iPhone’s built-in photo album.
