Looking to get a head start on your holiday shopping this year? Black Friday is just around the corner, but chances are you aren’t going to find a better deal on an iPad than Sam’s Club. That’s right, Sam’s Club is the latest in a number of retailers that have begun to offer the iPad. The only difference is that Sam’s Club is doing it at a discount. You’ll need a membership card, but you won’t need to buy it in bulk. Thank God.
The discount is $12 for a WiFi only iPad and $21 for 3G iPads. That makes the cheapest model the 16GB WiFi iPad at $488. It doesn’t appear Sam’s Club will be offering the 16GB 3G iPad, or at least not on the endcap pictured, which is fine If you’re willing to spend that much more, you probably want a higher capacity anyway.
Not sure if that discount is enough for you, but rest assured, if you’re giving an iPad as a gift this year, you’re the coolest. Twelve dollars might not be a huge discount, but to be honest, anything is nice and avoiding Black Friday shopping at all costs can be worth it. I love Black Friday for sociological reasons, not shopping.
