Section: Operating Systems, Mac OS X
Only about a week after the last beta build (10J855) of Mac OS X 10.6.7 was released to developers, a new fifth build of the upcoming OS (10J855) has already been released to the developer community.
The new delta release weighs in at 434.4MB, a 20MB jump from the last build. Developers have once again been asked to focus their testing on graphics drivers, the Mac App Store, AirPort, Bonjour, and SMB, just like with the last build, although Apple has made one more addition to this list with the newest build: Safari.
It’s been about a month since the beta builds of OS X 10.6.7 began making their way to developers, and this latest makes it even more clear that we should be near an official release. If you’re a developer, be sure to grab your copy of the newest beta build from the Mac Dev Center.
