Samsung Nexus S caught on Blurrycam

More images of the so-called Google handset show up

The sooner that Google and/or Samsung goes official with much rumoured Nexus One successor - dubbed the Nexus S or the Galaxy Nexus S - the better.

It would be lovely to be able to post some nice HD official pictures of the curvaceous handset, instead of ones, like these, shot in BD (Blurred-Definition).

But, for now at least, this is as good as it gets.

The latest shots are courtesy of an XDA source and show the handset live and touting its Android 2.3 goodies for all the world to see.

Well, we say goodies but it's really just a couple of homescreen and menu shots that don't really tell us anything we didn't know already.

However, a report on Android and Me suggests some spec details for the Google phone Mk-II, including that it has an ArmV7 processor, is Open GL ES Supported, has 328MB of RAM, has 1GB of onboard storage, a 4-inch Super AMOLED 800?480 display, and is capable of 720p video recording.

However, none of this info is confirmed, so it's all eyes on the All Things D: Dive into Mobile event on 6 December, which is being kicked off by Google's VP of Engineering (and co-founder of Android) Andy Rubin, where the handset could well get an official airing.
