Just because you can't buy the Sprint Pre anymore doesn't meant that Palm doesn't plan on bringing webOS 2.0 to the original webOS device. If you were concerned that Palm would skip over the "Pre Minus," then here's one more piece of evidence to ease your mind: Palm has updated the online support document for the Backup app for the Sprint Pre with webOS 2.0 details.
Does this mean that webOS 2.0 is imminent or does it mean the the support doc writers are just making sure they're well ahead of the curve. The fact that webOS 2.1 has mysteriously hit a couple Pre phones out there notwithstanding, we're still going to go ahead and assume that we won't be seeing the 2.0 update before February 9th. Still, you know, we'd be happy to be wrong about this, HP.
