It’s time once again to update your iDevices to the latest version of iOS. Apple has released iOS 4.3.2, which addresses issues with FaceTime, international iPad 3G connections and security. No word on whether this update is less battery hungry than past versions of iOS 4.3, but it’s sure to end some headaches for FaceTime and iPad 3G users. Verizon iPhone 4 users are no longer left out, but get iOS 4.2.7 instead.
Here are the release notes that come with iOS 4.3.2:
iOS 4.3.2 Software Update
This update contains improvements and other bug fixes including:
—Fixes an issue that occasionally caused blank or frozen video during a FactTime call
—Fixes and issue that prevented some international users from connecting to 3G networks on iPad Wi-Fi + 3G
—Contains the latest security updates
It’s interesting that Apple made no reference to any patches for battery life. It’s possible they’ve addressed it and not noted it in the release notes. If you have an iPad, iPad 2, iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4, or iPod touch (3rd or 4th gen), then go grab the update and find out.
As always, I recommend you keep your iDevices up to date with the latest version of iOS (unless you’re still jailbreaking for some reason). To do this, just connect your iDevice to your computer, select it in iTunes under the Devices sections and click check for updates.
