New iPhone, iPad and iPod touch apps

  • Cave Co. Ltd. has announced a special limited-time price for ?Espgaluda II? and all currently available iOS applications, starting April 9th. All proceeds earned from the sales of Mushihimesama Bug Panic during the sale period will be donated to reconstruction efforts for areas affected by the Japanese Tohoku earthquake.
  • Dance Pet Piano is a very interesting game for kids to learn how to play piano with fun. The game?s not only a piano simulation, it?s also specially designed to help with children brain development. 20 selections of well-known classical and popular music put together with bright and colorful graphics can surely improve the child’s musical, coordinating, color, and cognitive abilities.

  • Bassem Youssef highlights The Flu And Fury 1.0, his new game for iPhone and iPod touch. The world is afraid of the swine and avian flu but no one knows where it came from. The Flu And Fury presents its own fictional theory, which describes the resulting war raging between the pigs and the birds. Play with the pigs and try to protect them from the birds unending waves of attack evolving in numbers and speed, requiring a combination of focus and strategy skills.
  • LeapFrogEnterprises, Inc. has announced that its new Scout?s ABC Garden app for iPhone, iPod touch and iPad is now available on the App Store. Scout’s ABC Garden brings LeapFrog?s beloved and top-selling plush toys, Scout and Violet, to life as they help teach letters and letter sounds.
  • Soluble has announced the release of Ultimate Charades with Customisation, the colourful new party game app that lets you make it your very own. Now you can put the things that matter to your family or friends right in the game. Most charades games come with a fixed set of suggestions, and Ultimate Charades has over 2,000 of them waiting for you, but it can also be customised to add your own favourite people, movies or things and remove any that aren?t familiar.   • Exedria Software has announced the release of Great Composers 1.0, an educational game for Apple iOS devices to play and learn through a combination of match games and flashcards. A great, simple way to learn something useful having fun.
  • Justyourtrip has released their totally offline audio guide Justyourtrip London. The app provides users with over 4,000 places of interest with photos, detailed information on each place, restaurant menus, closest metro line, offline maps with three zoom levels, advanced search, events adviser. The app features a built-in compass using Augmented Reality. The application offers 10 walking tours with more than 200 audio-points, and voice over by top Spanish and English voice talents.
  • NTT Resonant and Berzerk Studio have announced the free version of Berzerk Ball, the iOS port of the popular Flash game Homerun in Berzerk Land. In the game, players smash Comeau, the snarky ?geek? across Berzerk Land, while aiming for boosts that will send him flying further into oblivion. In the Flash version, players have swatted the hapless geek over 150 million times and show no signs of relenting. Along with a free version, the first major update to Berzerk Ball brings all new, user-submitted quotes for the geek. Adding to his musings that range from ?hacking your game for lolz,? to commentary on how much ?loading sucks,? the new quotes showcase the best in player-generated wit.
  • MyFirstApp.com has launched six developmental iPad games for children aged 2-6. On the occasion of the launch, all six games can be downloaded free of charge from the AppStore. These educational games help develop various cognitive and motor skills such as: fine motor skills, visual perception, language, logic and imagination. Each game is aimed at different age groups and offers age specific challenges.

New apps for iPad only

  • Galarina has introduced PhotoMeta 1.0, their a new iPad app that efficiently handles EXIF, GPS and TIFF photo metadata like you’ve never seen before on the iPad. PhotoMeta even extracts makernotes for the most popular camera brands, including Canon, Nikon, Olympus, and Sony. With the built-in web browser, metadata of internet photos is only a few taps away. Choose to either have basic metadata info displayed in a clear overview panel, or to see all metadata tags in a self-explanatory list.
  • Imaginatronics has launched two new products for iPad: “The Deep Blue Kingdom” and “Smart Kids Early Learning.” Both products provide young children with an exciting start in learning. The company’s new products provide children with the ability to learn through multimedia software designed specifically for use with the Apple iPad. These new products are a follow up to the successful release of the company’s first product, “An Amazing Day At The Zoo.”
