Samsung has said that it will be intro-ing two new “Young” Android 2.3-powered smartphones at this year’s?IFA?trade show?in Berlin, all part of the launch of four new Galaxy phones and the introduction of a new naming structure.

The Samsung Galaxy Y and Galaxy Y Pro will be “an ideal device for younger consumers”, says Samsung.?

The Samsung Galaxy Y will feature a 3-inch QVGA (320x240) TFT LCD screen, a 832MHz processor and 2GB microSD card in the box.?

It will pack Android 2.3, have a rather disappointing 2-megapixel camera on the back and be 11.5mm thick. It weighs 97.5g.?

The Samsung Galaxy Y Pro, as the name suggests (new name convention says Pro means keyboard) will come with a QWERTY keyboard and a slightly smaller screen - 2.6 inches.?

It comes with the same 832MHz processor and both feature the usual array of 3G, Bluetooth v 3.0, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS with a-GPS.?

Both phones feature Samsung's Social Hub, its TouchWiz User Interface, and SWYPE.

No word on pricing, or who will be stocking the new model, as yet, however with the phones promised for IFA we will have more info from the show floor once we track them down.?
