New iPhone, iPad and iPod touch apps

  • Mother Tucker, LLC has announced Craigly Premium 2.0, an update to its popular Craigslist multi-location search for iOS devices. Craigly gives users multiple views of their search results including an images text view; a thumbnail-only view; a full-screen image-only view; and a Map view with images and so much more. Version 2.0 adds search monitors that serve as a free alternative to push notifications.
  • Kids Learning Language Media has introduced AlphaBubbles Multilingual 1.0 for iOS devices, their new high quality, educational app for kids of all ages. Designed for three-year-olds to 93-year-olds, AlphaBubbles Multilingual starts with the basics of each language. When the user pops a bubble, its contents fall down the screen as the user hears its name spoken in the chosen language.   • Fine Mechanics has introduced CarLights 1.0 for iOS, their app that provides a complete guide to the more than 100 symbolic indicator lights used in BMW and Mini automobiles. Located on the dashboard and instrument cluster, these red and yellow lights provide vital feedback on the status of the car’s various systems. The app displays a scrollable list of symbols for each of 20 different models of BMW and Mini. Touching any red or yellow icon opens a description of that indicator and its use.
  • JPY Consulting Ltd. has announced that TripCam 1.0 for iPhone/iPod touch is available on the Apple App Store. TripCam is one of the first iOS apps, maybe the first one on non jailbroken devices, that features realtime computer vision techniques in order to show the world seen from the eyes of a robot. Just tap on the image and a photo is taken. It has a retro black and white style that will amuse those who used computers in the early 80s.
  • Nagaraja Rivers has announced the release of Speak Japanese Fun Phrasebook 1.0 for iOS. It is is an easy to use talking phrasebook app for the Japanese language. Each phrase is displayed in large sized Japanese script, phonetic transliteration, and English translation. For each phrase there is audio recorded by a native Japanese speaker using a nice, clear voice. You can hear the audio for each phrase from a native Japanese speaker. There are over 500 words and phrases.
  • INTERSOG has announced the release of Interview Assistant for the iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch.   • Oceanhouse Media, Inc. has introduced its newest digital book app, Enchanted Tales: Snow White, for Apple and Android devices for $1.99. Adapted from the animated film Snow White by Golden Films, this retelling of the classic fairy tale is the first in a series of omBooks (Oceanhouse Media digital books) from the Enchanted Tales collection. Golden Films is the latest licensing partner to sign on with Oceanhouse Media.
  • Text Candy Pro is a cutting-edge app for the iPhone to create text images and send them to friends and loved ones in an entertaining and creative way. Text images, or textpics, are images that look hand drawn and almost vector based. They offer a very creative and original way to express images through a new art-style medium.

New apps for iPad only
