A case supposedly created for the upcoming next-generation iPhone has gained some popularity and caused some hype after it was listed on an online trading web site called Alibaba. A similar situation occurred on Alibaba prior to the launch of the iPad 2, with cases being listed that included hints to the iDevice’s new features, and which were subsequently taken down thanks to Apple’s legal team. Since the new case (pictured above) brought quite a bit of attention to its manufacturer, it is likely that either they or Apple had it taken down this time around.
The legitimacy of the case cannot be certain, and is strictly a rumor until Apple proves otherwise. Although, to be fair, it was accurate the last time around with the iPad 2. If it happens to be legitimate, the case verifies the rumors for a relocated LED camera flash, as you can see from the image. For now, it is up to Apple to make an announcement to see if all of these rumors about the next generation iPhone are really true.
